Ohio County Extension Homemakers Have A New Club
Are you needing some time for fun, friends, food and fellowship?  Well the Ohio County Extension Homemakers want you?  They have a brand new club that will meet on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:30 pm in the Purdue Extension Office of Rising Sun. Joel Sittloh Benefit Is Saturday, October 22
There will be a benefit for Joel Sittloh Saturday, October 22 from 2 pm to 1 am at Bovard's Camp, 15520 Upper Grants Creek Rd. in Rising Sun.  Joel was diagnosed with liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant.   Music will be provided by Bogus Hollow and The Other Guys.  There will be great raffle prizes and a corn hole tournament.  Meat will be provided but please bring a covered dish to share and your own drinks. Join the City of Rising Sun for an afternoon of nautical fun!  Take a ride on the mighty Ohio River aboard BB Riverboats’ River Queen. It's that time again!  The Navy Bean Fall Festival & Seaplane Splash-In is Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8.  A new addition to the fesitval this year is the Seaplane Splash-In. Mac's Seaplane Service owner and operator Troy MacVey describes the upcoming event at Rising Sun Seaplane Splash-In as a car show for airplanes. RSVP Program Dance Is Friday, October 14
The RSVP Program will holda dance Friday, October 14 at the Lions Building at 228 Second Street in Aurora from 7 to 10 pm.  This senior citizens dance, benefitting RSVP, alternates locations between Aurora and Rising Sun.  Aurora is hosting this one.  This event's entertainment is the band Wooden Wheels with Denver Brandt.
