The City Of Rising Sun is accepting applications for a Street Laborer position,  The city's Street Department is responsible for the overall maintenance of the various city properties and equipment.  This includes but not limited to: mowing and weed eating, snow removal, public restroom winterization and other assigned duties. The position requires working outside in all types of weather. Local communities in southeast Indiana are being inundated with purple ribbons according to this release provided by Mary Mattingly, Community Outreach Director for Safe Passage Inc.
