The Tri-State's most effective mentoring program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, is in need of volunteers to help make the difference in the lives of local children.  Someone you haven't met is wondering what it would be like to know someone like you. Increase your fitness, strength, flexibility and relaxation through yoga with the Rising Sun-Ohio County Parks & Recreation Department.  There are Tuesday evening classes from 7 to 7:45 pm. City of Rising Sun Brush Policy The following rules must be observed for brush to be picked up by the City of Rising Sun Street Department. Brush will be picked up on Monday and Friday. Homeowners do not need to call to request pickup. 1. All brush must be stacked next to the curb or alley and be stacked in the same direction. 2. For city residents only, the City of Rising Sun will make dumpsters available at the City Dump on the following remaining Saturdays in 2017 from 7 to 11 am: September 23, October 7 and November 4.
