Music On Main is back for 2017 every third Friday, May through September, from 6 to 8 pm.  The first of the season is Friday, May 19.  The band Stranger will perform at the Main Street Pavilion. There is also a Cruise-In.  If you have a classic, antique or custom vehicle, show off your ride on historic Main Street. Industrial Access Replacement Underway
Construction has begun to replace Industrial Access Road between North High Street (SR 56) and Rising Star Drive.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane for the next several months. The current concrete surface has deteriorated rather dramatically over the last several years.  Most recently, funds through local grants helped patch the worst of the potholes; however, the patchwork was never an ideal solution nor was it intended to be a permanent one. Haven't received your bill yet from Rising Sun Municipal Utilities?  There is a good reason.  They are lost in the mail.  No joke.  Also lost are utility bills for Aberdeen-Pate and Greendale.
