For Rising Sun and Ohio County residents only, the City of Rising Sun will have four dumpsters available at the City Brush Dump (end of South Downey Street behind the cemetery) from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 12.

City workers will exercise social distancing and will not climb into trucks to help unload.  They will be on hand to help maximize space available in the dumpsters.

This service is free but you are encouraged to go early.  Once the dumpsters are full, no additional items will be accepted.

The following items are not permitted for disposal: liquids, hazardous waste, wet or lead paint, closed drums, items containing Freon or mercury and tires. Please adhere to the restrictions. Thank you.
