There is a benefit for Tony Burgess on Saturday, February 13 at the Rising Sun Senior Community Center on 510 Mulberry Street. The dinner is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and a dance follows from 8:30 to midnight. There is also a silent auction from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tony is married to Lori Burgess and the couple has one son. Tony was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) over 10 years ago. He graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1981 and has lived in the Rising Sun area all of his life. Tony was very active in the community and was employed by the Aurora Casket Company before his diagnosis.
