Make 2022 be the year your weight loss and health resolutions come first. Mark your calendars for Rising Sun’s Biggest Loser Contest,  a 14-week program with a lot of support and motivation.

To participate, registration begins on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Rising Sun City Hall (downstairs) located at 200 N. Walnut Street between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Please note the new sign up and weigh in time for 2022. Weigh ins can also be done on Fridays at City Hall during normal business hours. There is a $10 sign-up fee. This contest is open to the public and you do not have to be an Ohio County resident but must be 18 years of age or older. 

Based on the largest percentage of weight loss, $500 will be awarded to the top male and female after the final weigh in on Saturday, April 16, 2022. $250 will be awarded to the second place male and female. Smaller prizes will also be awarded weekly to the top male and female who lose the greatest percentage of weight for the week. Must weigh in previous week to be eligible for that week’s drawing.  To be eligible for end of year prizes, you must attend 11 of the 14 weigh ins
