For Rising Sun and Ohio County residents only, the City of Rising Sun will have dumpsters available at the City Brush Dump from 7 to 11 a.m. on the following Saturdays in 2018: March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, August 4, September 8, October 6 and November 3.

This service is free but you are encouraged to go early.  Street department staff are on hand to help maximize space available. But once the dumpsters are full, they are full.  

The following items are not permitted at the dump: liquids, hazardous waste, wet or lead paint, closed drums, items containing Freon or mercury and tires. Please adhear to the restrictions. Thank you.
