For Rising Sun and Ohio County residents only, the City of Rising Sun will have dumpsters available at the City Brush Dump from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3.  This is the final dumpster day until next spring.

This is a free service and the city has added a third dumpster for each scheduled date.  However, you are still encouraged to go early. Once the dumpsters are full, no additional items will be accepted.  Street department staff will be on hand to help maximize space available. 

The following items are not permitted at the dump: liquids, hazardous waste, wet or lead paint, closed drums, items containing Freon or mercury and tires. Please adhear to the restrictions. Thank you.
