‘Tis the season of giving and the City of Rising Sun is hoping you will help our friends and neighbors in need.

Now through Friday, December 20, the city is collecting non-perishable items such as new toys, personal care products, cleaning supplies, canned food and more. You may drop off your items in the barrel located in the lobby of the Utilities Office at City Hall (200 N. Walnut).

The items you generously donate will be given to our local American Legion Riders, American Legion Auxiliary and local churches who will distribute them to Ohio County needy families and individuals.
