It’s that time again!  The Navy Bean Fall Festival & Seaplane Splash-In is Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8. 

A new addition to the fesitval this year is the Seaplane Splash-In. Mac’s Seaplane Service owner and operator Troy MacVey describes the upcoming event at Rising Sun Seaplane Splash-In as a car show for airplanes. Just like a car show, the general public will have the opportunity to come check out the pontoon aircrafts on the city riverfront.

Friday’s Event Schedule

• 5 pm- Rides open, bean soup and cornbread served, and seaplanes on display
• 5:30-7:30 pm- Music performed by the Jason Owens Band
• 8:30-10:30 pm- Music performed by the Danny Frazier Band

Saturday’s Event Schedule

• 10:30 am- Parade
• 11:30 am-1:30 pm- Music performed by The Side Effects
• 12 pm- Rides open, bean soup and cornbread served, and seaplanes on display
• 2-4 pm- Music performed by Hi Fidelity
• 5-7 pm- Music performed by The Menus
• 8-10 pm- Music performed by The Rusty Griswolds
