The Rising Sun American Legion Auxiliary Post 59 will host its annual Novelty Bingo event on Sunday, December 3 in the basement of the Legion at 110 Main Street. This is a non-smoking area. Doors open at 12 pm with play to follow at 1 pm. Refreshments will be available.

Novelty items include a wide variety of donations from area businesses, community groups and individuals. To make a donation, inquire about volunteering or for further information, please contact Jillian at 812-584-0085.

The local American Legion Post focuses on supporting war veterans and their families through many community programs. All branches support local students through various educational initiatives and scholarships.
