Ohio County 4-H First Annual Rodeo

Ohio County 4-H is hosting its first annual rodeo event Friday, August 18 at 7 p.m. at the Ohio County Fairgrounds in Rising Sun. Admission is $10 for those age six and older. Five and under are admitted free.
If you want to tap into your wild side, you can actually be a participant and compete for prizes. Protective gear is provided. Jackpot Bull Riding has a $60 entry fee. The prize pool is $1000 plus entry fees received. Barrel Racing is $50 to enter. The prize pool is $200 plus received entry fees.
To enter either, you must call the SEBRA office on Monday, August 14 between 8 and 10 p.m. at 336-861-2219 or 513-317-8725. Please note this is the preferred window for the organization to take entries. It will continue to take entries up until show time. Members take priority over non-members.
Novice/Amateur Bull Rides are $25 to enter with a buckle and cash prize going to the winner.
There is Sheep and Calf Riding for the youth which begin before the rodeo at 6:30 p.m. Entry fees are $10 for sheep and $15 steers. Space is liimited. To enter either the sheep or steer riding or the novice bulls, please call between 6 and 8 p.m. at 513-317-8725. Walk-up registration the day of the event is possible if space is available.
