This holiday season, the City Of Rising Sun and Rising Sun Municipal Utilities are once again collecting donations for Services From The Heart.  These organizations kindly ask you join them in providing much needed items to those less fortunate in the local community. 

This is a great time of year to open your heart, extend a helping hand and share your blessings with others in need.  Please drop off any of the following items in the donation bins located in the Utility Office Lobby, 200 North Walnut Street in Rising Sun, by Thursday, December 21:

Baby Items

• Diapers (any size)
• Diaper Wipes
• Desitin
• Aquaphor Healing Ointment

Cleaning Items

• Lysol Spray
• Disinfectant wipes
• Any cleaning supply
• Laundry detergent
• Dish soap
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Kleenex

Toiletries

• Soap
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Shampoo
• Shaving supplies
• Hand sanitizer

Food Items

• Canned soups or Canned meals (spaghetti, ravioli, etc.)
• Peanut Butter
• Crackers
• Instant oatmeal
• Cereal
• Apple Juice
• Boxed macaroni and cheese
