Vote for Bascoms, Raise Money for Children’s Advocacy Center

A Mardi Gras ball benefit for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeast Indiana will be held Saturday, February 25 from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Lawrenceburg Event Center with live music by The Menus.  In addition, there will be happy hour, dinner plus a silent and live auction.

Included in the event is the Monarchy Competition. Each of the eight counties served by the CAC has their own King and Queen who are competing to become the CAC Royal Couple. The Ohio County candidates are Brent and Gina Bascom.  Each dollar you donate to the CAC represents one vote toward the couple of your choice.

For more information, tickets to the event and silent auction bidding, please see the attached flyer. Also, please go online to cacsoutheast.org and click on the donate box in the middle of the page. Once on the donations page, you’ll find the list of candidates.  Please apply your donation to our very own Brent and Gina Bascom and support a great cause!

The CAC is a non-profit corporation established to minimize the trauma suffered by alleged victims of child abuse in a child-friendly setting.  The center is designed to use a multidisciplinary team approach which facilitates the prevention, detection, investigation and treatment of child abuse.  Since 2009, The CAC has been serving hundreds of children in our area who were victims of child abuse, helping to provide security, justice and healing for both the children and their non-offending family members.
