Pool Concession Stand Receives Facelift
The City of Rising Sun received a grant from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation to upgrade their concession stand at the Rising Sun Community Pool for the 2025 season. The upgrade included new cabinets, countertops, plumbing, shelving, painting, and non-slip flooring. The pool had over 5,000 paying customers this past year. The City of Rising Sun would like to thank the Rising Sun Regional Foundation for their financial support towards this project.
THE POOL IS OPEN THROUGH LABOR DAY. Our Community Pool is a clean and spacious seasonal recreational center. The facility features: shallow areas, swimming lanes, a deep end with two diving boards, water slide, kiddie pool, patio seating with lounge chairs, concessions, picnic table seating, green space, restrooms and showers. Swim lessons and adult water aerobics are held on selected dates and the pool can be rented for private parties.
